I was skeptical about "The Boys" on Amazon because of how Seth Rogen fucked up Preacher.

But holy shit, this is a damn good series.

Watch it.
Cosign, I ended up watching the first 3 episodes last night after thinking I found something to fall asleep too. Watching episode 5 right now

Another good new series is Das Boot on hulu, it takes place after the movie and splits its focus between one uboat and the French resistance. It's very well done and worth the watch.

I dunno. The Handmaid's Tale was entertaining for a while.

Now this broad is just pissing me off. I am like what the fuck now?

No...this is different. It is stand alone with their content, plus other stuff. It is not HBO itself.

What basically is happening is everybody is getting their own streaming platform. CBS has it. Disney will at the end of the year. NBC has its own planned.

So basically Netflix or Amazon Prime being a one stop shop for older programming will no longer be the case. You will now be nickel and dimed to death if you want your older favorites.

What we will have are numerous subscriptions, which will all add up.

I have a feeling that in a few years, Netflix will be on its last legs. Some of their original content is decent, but $15 bucks a month for just that minus the thousands of other older stuff will probably cost them subscribers.
I think Netflix has seen the writing on the wall which is why they are trying to expand their original content. I just don't think they'll have enough that warrants $15 per month.

I think my plan will be to subscribe to something like 2 services per month. Keep your costs low, binge whatever their good offerings are and move on to something else for a bit. Shop for deals. I got non-live TV Hulu for a year for $1/month at a Cyber Monday deal.

Netflix is TV.
Just because you watch it ON a TV does not make it a TV show. But, you don't call them shows, do you? You call them programs.

Progrums.

My great Grandma used to call her Soap Operas "Stories".

"Hurry up and give me my clicker, my stories are coming on."

Mine too. However I never had a deathbed conversation with her about Troy Aikman.

It’s awesome. Yet another evil Justice League, but done incredibly well.

Just finished CNN's Patty Hearst documentary. What a lying, entitled cunt. Halfway thru Divorce season 3. Also re-watching old episodes of Louie. Forgot how good it was. He fucked up his life by spanking in front of those women.

Enjoyed Mindhunter, but Season 1 was much more interesting to me.
Really digging the Boys.
