For your whole chickens, you can’t beat a spreadcock preparation. Trust me on this.
Did you mean a spatchcock?

I'm afraid to google spreadcock to see what the hell that is. So no... I can not trust you on that.

Yes, spatchcock. Not sure why I always want to call it spreadcock.

Getting ready to smoke 50 pounds of Boston butts this weekend for my uncle's wedding and they've asked for slaw, which I don't eat and have never made.

I don't buy store-made anything when i cook, so I've searched for a few simple recipes and it seems pretty straight-forward, but does anyone have a can't miss slaw they'd be willing to share?

The bestest coleslaw recipe evar:

1. Open slaw container.
2. Dump slaw in trash.
3. Wash container thoroughly.

I agree, but I'm cooking for folks who want slaw so I'm gonna make some mother humping slaw.

I do enjoy an occassional chili cheese slaw dog, so I understand that it has its place...just not sure if I want it on a bbq sandwich.

That is about how I feel. My wife loves that stuff...I really don't understand her sometimes.

Anybody know a good way to keep 100 or so tortillas warm for awhile?

Shove 'em up your butt.
And they'll stay soft and ready?

I'm worried less about presentation and more about function.

You will just have to do some trial and error with this one.

I'm assuming that you are warming them on the grill like a civilized human being. If not, you deserve bad things to happen to your ancestors.

Now that we have that out of the way...stack them in some foil, warp in towel and put them in a small cooler. DO NOT STEAM THEM!! Soggy torts are from teh debil.

I was hoping you'd deliver, so thanks for that.

But I hate myself for believing Iamtdg would know anything about tortilla prep, as I'm paying out the ass for it.

FYI, I never got a chance to warm the tortillas...they couldn't wait for the grill to fire up, so we said F it.

Bought me an electric smoker last week. Did a Butt, turned out great. Threw some kielbasa in there too.

Gonna try beef ribs today. Any tips or suggestions?
