I've only tried 120 once so far, and it was too young. So it was a bit of a waste. 60 mins are great, one of the few IPAs you can drink one after the other.

Have you had the 90 min?

A co-worker told me it was better than the 60 but I have yet to try it myself.

The 90 Minute IPA is outstanding. I prefer it to the 60 Minute IPA a little bit but sometime buy the 60 Minute instead. Just depends on whether I want the higher ABV or not on a given night.

So depressed that I cannot fins the maple pecan porter anywhere.

No disrespect to Sam Adams, but it is a hell of a lot better than some of those shitty niche beers that I see everywhere like their cherry wheat or that blackberry shit.

Sam Adams definitely has some really shitty beers.

They have a lot of hits, but a lot of misses as well IMO.

My two favorite brewers are Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada.

You can't beat an ice cold SN Pale Ale.

Just picked up 2 sixers of SN Porter.

Waiting for them to get cold.

Review shortly thereafter.

Looking into trying some micro-brewing, any tips EZ or anyone else can pass along would be appreciated.

I'd still like to see a final cost analysis on the fridge-->kegerator conversion.

SN Porter is good, but it lacks the sweetness of the Maple Pecan Porter.

I'd stick with the Sam Adams Porter if I could find it.

I will gladly answer this when I'm not on my phone.

Any questions in particular?

Porters and stouts (there really isn't a distinguishable difference) should have a coffee/slight chocolate flavor but not necessarily sweet. The pecan porter you are talking about is exceptionally sweet, but it's just that... Exception... Not the rule.

It is a great beer though.

Can't go wrong with some Fat Tire.

17 bucks for a 12 pack is steep, but it's good beer and I'm working on a few right now.

I have a beer kit that someone gave me, is it worth upgrading to higher quality equipment before I get started?
