Since when is getting breast implants or lip injections "mutilating your body"? Both are easily reversible cosmetic procedures. Those things are regularly done for vanity and attention. Suggesting that full gender reassignment is done for attention is naive and misguided (this is aside from the Jenner case because it sounds like he never underwent the surgery). That is the entire point of what I am saying here.

So yes, it is an absolute stretch to compare the two and say that people who go through gender reassignment surgery are doing it for attention. No matter how many words you want to burn trying to say otherwise.
