Jeff Green is going all Jeff Green on the Knicks in the 1st half.

Carmelo is such a chucker/ball hog.

Could you imagine Westbrook and Melo on the same team. They'd be fun to watch but probably wouldn't win many games.

We saw it a little this past summer. I think Coach K learned that lesson pretty quickly.

Courtney Lee sucks. He's been a bust on offense and his defense isn't what it used to be.

Through one game, the Knicks certainly look formidable on defense.

Boston can't get anything going offensively in this 4th quarter.

The Celtics just went completely cold in the 2nd half. The jumpers stopped falling and they didn't even make an attempt to get into the lane.

It was just one long jumper after another.

I think that has more to do with Boston's anemic offense. But if I'm a Boston fan even in defeat I feel pretty good about today. Their defense was great for most of the day. They just have to stop settling for long jumpers and concentrate on creating some offense within 15 feet of the basket.

What a horrible 4th Q. Just bad fundamental play.

And Courtney Lee and Jason Terry can GTFO. What an underachieving pair.

They stunk but those two are bit role players. Pierce really stunk it up, IMO.

Yea, Pierce was both ineffective and careless with the ball.

It's bad enough that he wasn't able to score, but then to turn the ball over the way he was too?

Just bad all around.

BTW, what are everyone's prediction for this 1st round?

Mine are:

Knicks over Celtics in 6
Nuggets over Warriors in 6
OKC over Houston in 4
San Antonio over Lakers in 5
Memphis over Clippers in 7
Nets over Bulls in 7
Miami over Bucks in 4

And a big WGAS in that snoozer between Indiana and Atlanta.

That Warriors-Nuggets game was fantastic.

Curry hits a game tying 3 pointer from the corner with 14 seconds remaining. Andre Miller comes down after the timeout and hits a GW layup with a little over a second remaining to pull out the victory.

Miller has long been one of my favorite players in the league. He's always been one of the most underrated players in the league.

I know the Bucks don't have a snowballs chance in hell to win a game in this series so I'm just watching and hoping that Lebron or Wade pull a muscle, twist an ankle, sprain a knee ligament, etc. Something to give the rest of the league a little hope.

I like the Thunder quite a bit, but they really seem to have no set plays, ever. It is just one on one play. Hell, even Ibaka was going one on one from 20 feet out...he had a good game and all, but I don't think that works late in the playoffs. I don't think they win this year and then they have to think about replacing Brooks.

Agreed about the Thunder, they can definitely make the Finals again but they can't beat Miami. Too much 1 on 1 and Westbrook doesn't control the game enough from the PG spot, he's bound to get out of control at times.

That's why I think the Spurs are the best bet to beat Miami if they can somehow get past the Thunder. They play a more European style with their ball movement, kind of like how the Mavs did 2 years ago, and they have a PG who can control the flow of the game.

Noah is having a helluva game.

What a block that was.

Great team effort from what I think is the best coached team in basketball.

Talk about superstar treatment. Lebron got a technical foul for mouthing off then a few minutes later the refs rescinded the tech because Lebron claimed that he was talking to himself.

Seriously, WTF!?!?!

The Heat are good enough to win it all without ref assistance. If the refs are going to make calls like that they might as well save everyone's time and stop the playoffs now and hand the Heat the trophy tonight.

That tech would have stood with 99% of the league.

Boston with an 11 point 3rd Q to blow an 8 point halftime lead and be down double figures. 2 straight games Doc has been out adjusted at half. Time to pull the plug.
