Yeah but if Iowa's other TE declares I think we would have a great shot at him. TJ Hockenson has been just as good and he is a nasty blocker. He is only a redshirt sophomore but there are already rumors that he is leaning towards leaving. His 717 receiving yards are actually more than Fants. Throw in 6 TDs and some highlight reel blocks. I'm all in on that kid if he enters the NFL.

Arguably he is a better fit for what Dallas will want. Which is a well rounded TE. But he is still a high level receiving TE. We will see if he declares but he probably should. Plus being a third year sophomore makes him pretty young still. I think he is only 21 years old which is always nice. Plus he can pancake dudes and has been in an NFL style offense.

I think he goes second round. But it's hard to say how late we will pick and if he will make it that far.
