1. Cleveland Browns - Josh Allen QB Wyoming
2. New York Giants - Saquon Barkley RB Penn St.
3. Indianapolis Colts - Bradley Chubb DE North Carolina St.
4. Cleveland Browns (Houston) - Minkah Fitzpatrick DB Alabama
5. Denver Broncos - Sam Darnold QB USC
6. New York Jets - Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quenton Nelson G Notre Dame
8. Chicago Bears - Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech
9. San Francisco 49ers - Denzel Ward CB Ohio St.
10. Oakland Raiders - Roquan Smith LB Georgia
11. Miami Dolphins - Josh Rosen QB UCLA
12. Cincinnati Bengals - Kolton Miller T UCLA
13. Washington Redskins - Vita Vea DT Washington
14. Green Bay Packers - Marcus Davenport DE UTSA
15. Arizona Cardinals - Calvin Ridley WR Alabama
16. Baltimore Ravens - Orlando Brown T Oklahoma
17. Los Angeles Chargers - Da'Ron Payne DT Alabama
18. Seattle Seahawks - Derwin James S Florida State

19. Dallas Cowboys - Rashaan Evans LB Alabama
I almost went with a tight end here, as South Carolina's
Hayden Hurst
reminds me of a young Jason Witten, who can't play forever. But middle linebacker is another need, especially if Dallas can't retain free agent
Anthony Hitchens
, and Evans could play there or be insurance for
Sean Lee
, who will be 32 when the 2018 season begins and has struggled with injuries in his career. Evans had 15 sacks at Alabama and is a threat as a pass-rusher on third down. He's smart and battle-tested after playing under Nick Saban. I really like this pick for the Cowboys.

20. Detroit Lions - Derrius Guice RB LSU
21. Buffalo Bills - Mike Hughes CB UCF
22. Buffalo Bills (Kansas City) - James Daniels C/G Iowa
23. Los Angeles Rams - Josh Jackson CB Iowa
24. Carolina Panthers - James Washington WR Oklahoma St.
25. Tennessee Titans - Ronald Jones RB USC
26. Atlanta Falcons - Isaiah Wynn G Georgia
27. New Orleans Saints - Hayden Hurst TE South Carolina
28. Pittsburgh Steelers - Leighton Vander Esch LB Boise St.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars - Dallas Goedert TE South Dakota St.
30. Minnesota Vikings - Geron Christian T Louisville
31. New England Patriots - Donte Jackson CB LSU
32. Philadelphia Eagles - Christian Kirk WR Texas A&M

No love for Rosen, apparently. Giants are in a tough spot. Give Manning help at #2 and try to win in the next two years or draft the heir apparent.

Well, we actually do need a TE, but I have zero confidence in their ability to find one.

Evans wouldn't be a terrible pick but I guess this is the time of year where he starts pumping up guys whose agents took him out to nice steak dinners.

Dear God.
I'm not understanding the love for Evans. But, I would take him before Hayden f'ing Hurst at 19.

So much for being consistent.
Yeah he isn't at all. He just spews what he hears. If someone tells him that stats aren't a big deal with Allen he will repeat it as such. There is no consistency because they aren't really his opinions. They are the opinions of others that he is just repeating.

Yeah first of all Hurst is older, he will be 25 at the start of his rookie year. And not only that but I don't see him as a first rounder at all. Shit, if we are taking a TE in the first it better at least be Goedert who is younger and more athletic. A 25 year old TE prospect who doesn't look special at 19. It's just crazy.

This pick could depend on how the Cowboys feel about
Jaylon Smith
, who improved as the 2017 season went along but struggled at times. If they think Smith can fill in at middle linebacker with
Anthony Hitchens
gone to the Chiefs in free agency, they might look elsewhere in the draft. For now, I think Evans is a good fit as an every-down player. Tight end is another position to watch here -- Dallas needs to replace
Jason Witten
at some point.

I would go Ridley or Vander Esch or trade down in this scenario. Gosh I really don't like Evans.

Mayfield to the Broncos would be outstanding for him. Avoids the stench of the Cleveland franchise and gives him a much better chance at succeeding.

Josh Allen to the Browns would be horrific, IMO. By most evaluators' account, out of the group of QBs being discussed as top 10 picks, Allen has the most questions marks surrounding his ability to play the position. Many have mentioned that he should probably sit and learn for a year. The Browns haven't had a consistent QB in damn near 30 years. Does anyone really trust the Browns to properly develop a QB who has quite a few question marks? He'd be better off going somewhere like the NY Giants where the franchise has a history of developing QBs.

There are a number of players I would take ahead of Evans in this scenario:

  1. Ridley
  2. DJ Moore
  3. Wynn
  4. Hernandez
  5. Connor Williams
  6. Leighton Vander Esch
  7. Justin Reid
  8. Hayden Hurst
  9. Dallas Goedert

So yeah, I don't like the pick.

Yeah if you ask me who I prefer to Evan's it may take a while lol. I'm with you on most of that. Add in some guys like Kirk as well.

I don't see the value for Evans. He definitely is not among the top 20 players in this draft pool.

I don't get him. I've watched, I've tried to see the positives. And I see a guy who looks very meh to me. And not good in coverage at all.

Vander Esch seems like a vastly better prospect. Productivity jumps off the charts. "The junior totaled 141 tackles with 8.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks, four passes broken up and three interceptions on the year. " Evans made like 66. Granted he plays for Bama which is pretty loaded with guys who can tackle.

Mike Hughes is the correct pick there and all of you should be ashamed of yourselves for not saying so sooner.
