I mean he was trying to clear the defenders but he never should have made that pass. With the defenders in the way he tried to step back and loft it over them. Which was a really dumb decision to a receiver who wasn't actually open anyway.

The way he threw that ball reminds me of the way he throws screen passes to Zeke. Which is great when you're throwing a RB screen. This was a screen to Beasley but Dak clearly didn't realize that there was zone coverage where a throw like this is scary.
