Ok, the season is upon us. Give 5 bold predictions on what you think has a good chance of happening this season. But ONLY for teams other than the Dallas Cowboys. We can revisit this at the end of the season and see who could see into the future the best.

1. The Cleveland Browns will win 7 games.

2. The Jimmy Garoppolo love will end by week 8. The Niners will not win more than 5-6 games this year.

3. This is the season Tom Brady starts coming back to earth. He'll still be an above avg starting QB. He just won't be the same GOAT as we've been accustomed to. And he will retire after this year.

4. The NY Giants are going to regret not drafting their QB last spring. Eli's face will be perpetually frozen in sad face, and their mega rich WR will be throwing tantrums by mid season, as teams dare them to throw while ganging up on Barkley.

5. The NFC Championship will be Rams vs Vikings. AFC Championship will be Steelers vs Jaguars. Vikings will win their 1st championship over the Jaguars in a defensive slugfest.

1. The Cleveland Browns will hit 9 wins this season. I hate to say it but I think Mayfield (combined with Gordon and Landry) will make that offense much better

2. The Eagles will have a massive fall of and will finish best case second in the division.

3. The Patriots won't make the second round of the playoffs.

4. The Panthers won't make the playoffs.

5. The Jaguars will win the Super Bowl.

Too bold. They're favored to go 8-0 against their division foes every year, and four of those games will probably feature rookie QBs (Darnold and Allen). That's a big head start they have on rival playoff teams.

5. Final year in a Steelers uniform for Ben R. and Bell

Watch them fall apart. (I hope.)

Luck is almost a lock to miss some games. Not exactly a bold take.

This is a great idea for a thread. I wonder how many others will be brave enough to throw their predictions out.

Don't be scared, DCC.

1. Despite the greatness of Russell Wilson, I think the Seahawks downward spiral continues and they'll only win 5 games.

2. I think the Saints will have the best defense in the NFL.

3. I still don't trust Andrew Luck. He's been away from live action for 18 months plus historically he's shown a habit for forcing throws. For those reasons I think he will lead the NFL in INTs.

4. I think Kirk Cousins will be in the discussion for league MVP. He's being plugged into a great system with tons of weapons to work with, including the return of Dalvin Cook.

5. I think the Darnold hype is overstated at the moment. The Jets will be last in the league in offensive ppg.

Not very bold on that one. I'm guessing most of this board would predict 8-8. It's like our go to win total.

1.- Manning will suck and be what holds an otherwise good Giants team down.
2.- Eagles come back down to earth with a .500 record
3.- Vikings pull a '98 look like worldbeaters and choke in the Playoffs
4.- Jags don't win their Division
5.- NO wins SB and Breesus retires ala Elway.

Rodgers has reached Romo levels of fragility.

He’s done.
