Had a little something to do with getting Romo in a rhythm too. It seemed like he never hit his groove until the coaches started to let him sling it a little.Im sure it had nothing to do with the garbage ass OL we had back then.
That's why it's great to have Zeke back there. He's always a threat to take it for 6 and he's constantly moving forward. He and this oline gonna be fun to watch this year.I actually looked at the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Below I've listed the point in the game when the Cowboys scored their first points of games. If the first points came via a FG, I listed the first TD scored in parenthesis next to it.
The 2012 season was about what I suspected. The Cowboys managed to score 1st quarter TDs in only 4 of 16 games. Their first TD typically wasn't scored until they were well into the 2nd quarter.
The 2013 season was actually a little better than expected. They actually scored offensive TDs in the 1st quarter of 8 games.

Could easily be three of those names. Byron Jones doesn't really seem to fit in there though. The other guys are all young and inexperienced. Byron Jones has had his chances. He is more of a reclamation project at this point.
Blue jerseys versus the Panthers.
I may try to be at that game as well. Are you going to the game? My brother and I are going to try to make it.
I feel the opposite. I'd lean towards Jones.Could easily be three of those names. Byron Jones doesn't really seem to fit in there though. The other guys are all young and inexperienced. Byron Jones has had his chances. He is more of a reclamation project at this point.

Byron has looked pretty good so far in camp, making plays on the ball.I feel the opposite. I'd lean towards Jones.
Vander Esch probably is the oddball on that list. I like him as a prospect but we haven't seen him as a professional yet. Harder to evaluate him til we see something.
The other three are probably all underachievers thus far but I feel like Jones has flashed more, and I think he'll be an ideal fit for Richards.
Reclamation project feels harsh considering he's probably going to start.
Ugh. Yeah probably not going at that price. The tickets are over $200/each for the nosebleeds...I hope they come down considerably.
I'd say Taco and Jaylon are right on schedule for where they should be. I'm not sure that underachiever is the correct term for either. When we drafted Jaylon we knew he'd sit out a year and that year two would sort of be that year of getting comfortable again. Taco flashed as a rookie but like most rookie DE's it takes a little time. I just hope they don't hold him back for the sake of Crawford FFS. In far less playing time last year Taco looked better than Crawford. For having a fraction of the playing time Taco basically put up the same stats.I feel the opposite. I'd lean towards Jones.

Yeah I actually think he will do well as a corner in the new defensive scheme. It's made for his skillset. I'm glad to hear it's going well so far.Byron has looked pretty good so far in camp, making plays on the ball.

I've never really liked Crawford so no argument here.I'd say Taco and Jaylon are right on schedule for where they should be. I'm not sure that underachiever is the correct term for either.
