No way I'd put Gordon and Gregory in the same locker room. That would be pretty retarded.

He is going to name himself and draft his grandson to be the QB in a few years.

Standard trade deadline speculation:

Trade: Allen Hurns, WR for mid-round draft pick

The Cowboys made major waves in Week 7 when they chose to trade away a first-round pick for Raiders receiver Amari Cooper, potentially giving their offense the outright No. 1 receiver it has seriously needed since Dez Bryant's departure.

While Dallas isn't likely to bring in any more big names, it's possible they trade away wideout Allen Hurns before Tuesday afternoon. The former Jagaurs wideout has been a disappointment for the Cowboys thus far, putting up just 158 receiving yards and one touchdown through five starts. Hurns is on the first of a two-year deal with Dallas and a trade would likely bring in a decent mid-round pick.

Oh good, the Eagles get Golden Tate for a third.

I wish we could cut Deonte Thompson, netting us that comp 4th, and then turn around and trade a fourth for a young talented TE.

Lincoln Riley or Nick Saban.
Riley's happy where he's at and no way in Hades does Saban give up his cushy gig at 'Bama. Dallas would have to pay through the ass and cede some franchise control to either, not happening. Said it before, the book is out on the Jones family and no quality coach in his right mind would go there even if they had Fort Knox dropped in their laps. I'm sure feelers have been sent out and were shut down quickly.

I can’t see Riley being ready yet for the NFL. He is still learning how to be a coach at a highly successful college program. He needs more tenure with keeping success as the norm to really get to be a seasoned coach who has kept a successful program on target. Maybe after three to five years of coaching at the current level will round him to the level he can bring that success to the NFL.
