You'd have to see it as percentage of the throws in general, we do throw the ball less than most.
Our 89 might be over 50% of our throws while the Vikings 184 might be 40% of theirs.

Yeah we throw the ball way less than most. It's why pure yardage totals for our passing game are garbage.

Vikings throw short than on 61.3 % of their passes. Cowboys would be at 43.2%. I didn't do the math for everyone though.

I think the Vikes run a lot more screen game then we do. We do very minimal. And frankly Cousins numbers look great but his YPA isn't much higher than Daks. He just attempts a lot more passes and his higher completion percentage accounts for the difference in YPA easily. Which happens when you are good at running a lot of short passes. Kirk has always been a QB though that loves the short stuff. He is very good at it. Hell Payton Manning was the king of short passes but he was very good at reading the defense and setting them up. He got a lot of big plays with pick plays and quick passes.

The Colts are at 55%
The Jags are at 60%
The Eagles are at 52%

Its not from screens and short passes.

Truth is I think we throw a lot of passes in the 5-10 yard range.
