I'd bet that's what this is. Sign him to a contract so you can be around him during the offseason and preseason. See how he is, and keep him on speed dial if he shows anything and if Ladouceur hangs them up after this year. It wouldn't surprise me if he does retire after this year. Dude's been around a long time. He's gotta be getting up into the late 30's. Still a machine on auto pilot, though. He is so good at what he does. But I'm sure he's slowing down getting down the field in punt coverage.
