5 of last 7 SB's have one coach in their 1st/2nd year with team. Sixth time was a 3rd year coach.

2018 - McVay (2nd year)
2017 - Pederson (2nd year)
2016 - Quinn (2nd year)
2015 - Kubiak (1st year)
2014 - Belichick vs Carroll
2013 - Fox (3rd year)
2012 - Jim Harbaugh (2nd year)
2006 - Jason Garrett(10th year and nothing)

A Rams/Pats Super Bowl is probably how the powers that be want it.

So Wade Phillips is now working on Super Bowl ring number 2 while Garrett is working on scapegoat number 2.
Yep. I actually miss Wade right now. Not because he is from my hometown like Jimmy Johnson, but because he was a much better coach then Garrett.

The sad thing is Goff's playoff stats have been underwhelming. 74 QB rating against us and an 83 QB rating against the Saints. But they are in the Superbowl so I guess that doesn't really matter.
Peyton Manning, 2015 season (Broncos/Panthers in SB 50)
3 games = 75.41 QB rating = 51/92, 539 yards, 2TD, 1INT

In 2 games, Jared Goff is 79.47 QB rating = 40/68, 483 yards, 1:1

Let Brady get one more ring and then retire

Hearing "Eastbound and Down" every five minutes really keeps me on my toes.

It makes me feel like a honky tonk might break out at any second and I need to be prepared.

I'm not a conspiracy type of person, but this is pretty convenient for them to re-establish the LA market. Combine that with some of the calls the Rams got...I mean the Saints probably win in regulation if this is called correctly. I'm not a conspiracy type of person, but it raises an eyebrow.

NFL will be hyping up faux Boston vs LA rivalry with montages of Magic Johnson vs Larry Bird, Kobe vs Garnett, Elgin Baylor vs Bill Russell and the recent Dodgers/Red Sox World Series

I don't.

They earn it. Every year.

I admire consistent excellence. I don't get all petty and hate it.
I'm ok being petty. I can't stand whiners who coast to home field advantage most years in the playoffs because their division is pathetic. Just ready for that dynasty to be over.
