The cover up is probably more about them maybe having reason to place Elliott in concussion protocol right before the Packers playoff game.

If it was covered up then why does everyone know about it? It was never silenced from any public record.
They may have pulled some favors to slow-play something to make sure Elliott was gonna be fine and dandy to play, but I see no evidence that he actually had any sort of injuries..... just baseless speculation that a car accident MAY be the type of accident that COULD cause such an injury.
To the extent that any of this "cover up" was damaging to the plaintiff, that's just absurd. His damage was that his car got wrecked. Not that it was "covered up." Unless the plaintiff was a Packers fan and the damage is that Zeke actually played.
