I would normally agree, but they really showed determination in that game against the Steelers. Their defense is extremely solid now. I feel like this SD team is tougher than any team since the Schottenheimer days when they had Merriman.

He played terrible most of the game. Threw picks and honestly could have easily thrown more. There was an easy INT the Chiefs dropped. But he got the win. When his team needed him he came up big and got the job done. Props to him.

I've got a pretty good guess. Not to mention Daks complete game was also way better. But as a QB the wins or losses are pretty heavily on your shoulders. Games are won or lost in the fourth quarter.

Anyway, great game. I do think the weather kept both QBs down a little bit last night.

Certainly no one is saying Dak is as good as Rivers. But it's a great example of how even really talented QBs make mistakes, make boneheaded decisions and still get praised because they do everything in the end that they need to in order to win the game. Shoot even Mahomes made some really bad passes in that game. One of which should have been an easy pick and return for the Chargers but their guy could field a simple errant throw that went right to him. Of course Mahomes also made some crazy passes that few if any others could do in the NFL.
