Good for him, he is a good player. Unlike Kaepernick who was a backup quality QB making waves, Reid is a legit starter.

Barry Church? He gone.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are starting the rebuilding process early.

With three games remaining in the season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are officially out of playoff contention with a 4-9 record. The quarterback room has undergone changes with Blake Bortles being benched for Cody Kessler while the defense has been giving up yards at a staggering rate, with the exception of the 6-0 victory over the Colts. With such turmoil surrounding the team, there are rumors beginning to swirl that the front office could begin making changes along the roster and possibly the coaching staff.

Apparently, the Jaguars are starting the process in anticipation of week 15's matchup with the Washington Redskins. Phillip Heilman of the Florida Times-Union reported on Friday afternoon, that the team has released safety Barry Church. The former Cowboys defensive back had two years remaining on a four-year contract he signed in March 2017. He finishes his season with 38 combined tackles, one interception, and one sack.
