I wonder if the Cowboys even bothered offering Ware a position on the coaching staff or as some type of consultant. They've given jobs to a ton of other undeserving former Cowboys players (red pubes for one).

Ware always struck me as a fairly cerebral player who played with great technique. I guess it makes too much sense for this organization.

I actually don't think Ware had any kind of amazing technique, I actually think it was a big drawback of his (as big a drawback you can have for a sure fire hall of famer and a guy who should have ended up top 5 in sacks all time if he had stuck it out another year or two like he should have).

Ware was lightning, lightning fast off the edge. But I don't think he was particularly masterful in terms of technique among the company of statistical peers he is in.

I have never understood the desire fans have to have former players as coaches.

It is a hit or miss proposition.

Hell, look at our current head coach.

At this point I would love to move up to a miss with him.

Why is a LB coach giving press conferences?
He drew the short straw?

Sounded like he wasn't always this way so maybe a message to the press? Not getting the head coach and making it difficult. :shrug

We had a ST coach who had his own radio show, so we don't have much room to talk.
