- Murray inspired his teammates and the coaching staff with his non-wavering commitment to play just six days after having a metal plate and eight screws inserted in the ring finger on his left hand after breaking it. He played a season-low 31 snaps, but still carried the ball 22 times for 58 yards.
- Randle took much of Murray's playing time with a season-high 22 snaps. He finished with 13 carries for 37 yards and a long of 12. He did a nice job on blitz pickups, which is one of the reasons Romo was sacked just once.
- Martin, who didn't practice this week because of a sprained ankle, received a mild break because of the blowout win. Martin earned praise from coach Jason Garrett and played 57 snaps, while his replacement, Bernadeau, played the last six snaps.
- The Cowboys led 28-0 after 33 snaps, which meant it was time to pound away with the running game. That's why Hanna played a season-high 30 snaps and helped the Cowboys finish with 127 yards on 40 carries.
- Dunbar, figured to get more playing time with Murray limited, played just eight snaps. He caught two passes for 10 yards and carried the ball twice for four yards.
