I don't have a problem with him caving if Marinelli wanted out. No reason to keep the guy if he is just going to be disgruntled.
Now...that said, if he keeps Old Man Kiffin and just promotes Lett to DL coach, that is the stupidest fucking move I could imagine.
There is now zero reason to keep Kiffin and have a staff of three positional assistants who do not know a damn thing about the Tampa-2.
Then again, he kept Zimmer around to run Parcells' 3-4, so the imbecile has done this shit before.
