I went my whole life until yesterday without watching it and nothing has changed. Aside from a couple of catchy things like the horse head, it is massively overrated. If you told me I could never watch Goodfellas again, it would bother me.

I like the Godfather a lot (and more than Goodfellas although both are good), but I do agree the Godfather is overrated. Sometimes you'll see people rank it as the best movie ever and it's not that.

But it's well acted and compelling.
